School Council

In the school year, so far, the school council have taken part in a number of activities. Some of these occurred inside school and others occurred outside.

On Wednesday 15th October 2008 Year 6 (Miss Bridges class) did a class assembly all about democracy and how important it is in everyday life.

On Monday 24th November the junior road safety officers and the school council joined with other schools around Duston to campaign against dangerous driving and parking around our schools.

Also on Friday 9th January the school council took part in interview day and interviewed the candidates for the position of Hopping Hill’s deputy head. The candidate that was chosen stood out from all of the others and we are happy with the decision that was made. Our chosen candidate was Mrs Phillips!

Quite recently also, some chosen members of the school council had a meeting with one of our friends to discuss what kind of events we would like to take place and what we could buy to improve our school. They came up with some brilliant ideas!
